Abstract

An electric probe is used between two crossed coupled combline resonators in order to realize the required electric coupling for a six-pole elliptic function filter This realization eliminates the need for resonators with long posts, providing filter. compactness and offering a flexible and wide range of couplings. The measured frequency response of the lifter shows good agreement with the theoretical analysis. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
